Terrie attended San Diego Mesa College in California but quickly married and committed to a stay-at-home job of attending to her family of 5 children. She came to WDW in October of 2015 after working as an administrator in the Environmental Industry for 2 years.

Jen King graduated from Texas tech University in 2007 with a degree in animal science.  She worked for ten years in medical billing before joining the WDW team. Jen owns many animals, including horses and chickens, and loves to enjoy the outdoors.

Amanda is a graduate of the Texas A&M University Financial Planning Program with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics.  She is from Prosper, Texas and grew up playing competitive soccer. Amanda enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and going fishing on her family’s ranch in East Texas.

James, our founding partner, holds degrees in both Economics and Public Speaking from Mississippi College. He has been a part of the financial planning business since 1969. He currently serves on the board of Buckner International. James and his wife, Nancy, have two children and five grandchildren, all of whom reside in Dallas. James also has a passion for biblical archaeology that has taken him around the globe.

Shelby graduated with a business degree from the University of North Texas. She worked at another financial services company for ten years. After a short time at home with her children, Shelby joined WDW in August of 2012. She and her husband, Harold, keep busy with their son and two daughters.

Donna graduated from Ouachita Baptist University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She grew up in Richardson and spent ten years working for a local church in the finance department. Donna joined our team in 2012. Donna and her husband, Barry, are raising two daughters, a senior in high-school and a senior in college.

Stephen graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a minor in Financial Planning. He began as a college intern with our firm in 2002 and worked his way into a full-time position with us when he graduated in 2004. Stephen was born in New York City but grew up in the Houston area. Stephen and his wife, Michelle, have two daughters and a son. He currently serves on the boards for the ADL and Hillels of North Texas.

Susan holds a BBA and MBA from Baylor University. She worked in bank portfolio management prior to joining the team in 1992. She grew up in West Texas as an Army brat and enjoys traveling to new places. Susan serves on the board of Buckner International and on the advisory board of the Baylor University Women’s Council.  She and her husband, Randy, have a married son and daughter who live in the Dallas area and twin grandsons.

After college at Loyola and the University of North Texas, Michael served 11 years as a Plano firefighter. He officially joined WDW in 1992. Michael and his wife, Loree, have three teenage daughters. Michael runs or bikes whenever possible, competing in several races every year.  Michael is heavily involved with the Dallas Life homeless ministry, having recently completed his term as board president.

David graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Accounting. David spent four years with the accounting firm of PwC prior to joining the firm in 2000. David and his wife, Shannon, have a daughter and a son. David spends his free time enjoying travel, the outdoors and live music.
